of February thus far

The latest happenings. It's been a while folks! A lot has been going on-it's actually insane. February is always my busy. It's the end of one of my swim seasons which means loads of championship meets on top of loads of school work on top of trying not to get sick in this crazy weather which all equals stress.
Before Fastpacedfebruary started, though, I spiced up my room a bit. I was tired of everything being cluttered and uncute around my desk, so I gave it a bit of a makeover. It was INSANE how much better i felt while studying when everything was tidy. No joke. Here's what it looked like.
The website pulled up on my laptop is actually my Tumblr. Please go check it out and maybe give me a follow :)

The quote on the chalkboard is "In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer"

Note the Wicked poster. I saw it on February 2nd, and, let's just say, that it deserves a post of it's very own. I cried. It gave me chills. it was the best thing I've ever seen in my life. It changed my life. Is there such a thing as post-musical depression? Because I think I have it.

I am the daughter of a King who is not moved by the world for my God is with me and goes before me. I do not fear because I am HIS

I also bought this cute mug from anthropologie and dug up this jewelry holder and BAM so cute omg.

Swimming rant....

I got to go to State Championship and it was amazing. SO amazing. Out of 130 teams, my team got 9th, and out of hundreds of swimmers in the state, I'm currently the 29th fastest. No big deal.

my shoulders look huggee in this picture ew ew ew

AND my team relay placed 8th in the relay and we got a medal and got to stand on a podium! There were so many cameras and people and "congratulations" it was scary and exciting at the same time. Legit.

I am also loooving my Hunter rain boots....especially with all this crazy weather....I have had plenty of opportunities to wear them! No complaints!

Hopefully I'll be back to blogging regularly come March.... :)
